Beyond Borders: How Bravo LT Solves Unique Talent Challenges for Two Enterprise Clients

Recently the Bravo LT team has engaged with two Enterprise organizations that need to add talent to their mobile development teams. Both organizations needed to keep costs down while getting top tier development talent to bolster their Mobile Dev team.

While their goals and talent needed were similar, that is where the similarities ended. Both organizations had drastically different ways of working and Bravo LT needed to figure out how best we could apply their pre-established way of working to our delivery model.

Company A: Matching a Grand Rapids Work Schedule

  • HQ Location: Grand Rapids

  • Company Size: 2,500+ employees globally

  • Industry: Household Supplies

We found that having a Lead Developer on site in Grand Rapids, MI and a team of Senior Mobile Developers in Latin America could maximize budgetary dollars while keeping the same local feel.

Our client needed to expand a small in-house mobile development team to add new functionality to their existing mobile application as they launched a line of IoT-enabled devices into the market. This tight-knit team, based in West Michigan, believed that real-time collaboration was essential to their success.

At the start of the engagement, the goal was to add well-rounded, local developers with a few years of experience. These new team members would work on-site, side-by-side with the existing developers, taking on core development tasks and allowing senior full-time engineers to focus on more complex initiatives.

As we evaluated available Bravo LT resources, project goals, and budget, we explored how to maximize value. Through further collaboration with the client, we identified an effective model: placing a Lead Developer on-site in Grand Rapids, supported by a team of Senior Mobile Developers based in Latin America.

  • Local Leadership: A Lead Developer based on-site in Grand Rapids, serving as the daily point of contact and ensuring alignment with the client’s internal team.

  • Global Expertise: A team of three Senior Mobile Developers in Latin America, working in near-identical time zones to maintain real-time collaboration.

  • Optimized Budget: A model that expanded senior-level capability without increasing costs, maximizing the client’s investment while preserving team cohesion.

This approach maintained the client’s desired local collaboration while optimizing their budget.

Ultimately, Bravo LT delivered a blended team consisting of one on-site Lead Developer and three Senior Mobile Developers in Latin America. By aligning time zones, we preserved the “real-time” feel the client valued, while adding depth, expertise, and scalability to their mobile development capabilities.

Company B: Filling in the Gaps for a Global Development Team

  • HQ Location: Grand Rapids

  • Company Size: 14,000+ employees globally

  • Industry: Healthcare Products

Having senior mobile engineers embedded in Europe and collaborating across time zones could maximize productivity while keeping a unified, global development rhythm.

Our client, a major healthcare goods company headquartered in the Grand Rapids area, operates global development hubs across Malaysia, India, and the U.S. To maintain continuous development for their suite of critical e-commerce mobile applications, they needed stronger coverage in Europe, where their small existing presence struggled with time-zone handoffs and slowed modernization efforts.

They required an experienced, senior-level mobile development team in the European time zone to:

  • Eliminate handoff friction caused by non-overlapping working hours.

  • Enable seamless continuous development and integration (CD/CI).

  • Accelerate the modernization of their existing mobile applications.

Leveraging our established global network, and a strong talent base in key European markets such as Poland, Bravo LT quickly assembled and deployed a dedicated team of four Senior Mobile Developers.

This was more than staff augmentation, it was a strategic talent solution. By placing seasoned developers directly within the client’s European footprint, we provided:

  • Aligned Collaboration: Improved cross-regional communication and reduced time-zone friction with U.S. and Asian teams.

  • Immediate Senior Impact: Developers with the autonomy and expertise to drive modernization efforts from day one.

  • A Scalable EU Presence: A flexible model that allowed the client to grow their European operations without managing complex international recruiting internally.

The Bravo LT team quickly became a cornerstone of the client’s European development efforts, successfully leading key modernization initiatives, including:

  • Mobile App Upgrades: Transitioning legacy applications to modern frameworks and platforms.

  • Seamless Integrations: Implementing essential back-end and third-party integrations for a unified global app ecosystem.

  • Ongoing Modernization: Establishing best practices for continuous development and future-proof mobile architecture.

This partnership allowed the client to accelerate delivery, reduce time-to-market for new features, and strengthen their global development cycle, all powered by senior, specialized Bravo LT talent.

At Bravo LT, we don’t just fill roles, we build high-impact teams that enable global growth. If your organization is looking to strengthen or scale your development capabilities, let’s discuss how we can help.
